before a lot of people get excited about this image, i would like to see more convincing proof that these butterflies were indeed mating. usually you see genitalia pulled out a little bit when lycaenids mate (e.g., see http://www.people.fas.harvard.edu/~kunte/PhotographyPrintsSlides/pages/BrightBabulBlue.htm), which is not the case here. were these really paired? does milind have other pictures of this mating, taken from different angles? he had earlier posted image of the Red Pierrot (Talicada nyseus) with the Common Pierrot (Castalius rosimon), claiming that they were mating, which again went unconfirmed. milind, i think you should provide more information and more pictures when you send such news.
btw, there was slight misidentification: the butterfly on the left is the Small Cupid (Chilades parrhasius), not the Plains Cupid (C. pandava).
