Dear Krushnamegh

I photographed a Horaga onyx from Ultapani on January though it is very rare in
this area.

rohan and i photographed this tiny, quite pretty lycaenid last year
in baghamara town outside the balpakram national park in meghalaya.
the species is rare in the western ghats, uncommon in the NE. i had
also seen one in the anamalais in the 1999, rafeek has recently
photographed one in kerala and prasanna parab photographed one in
goa; but this is not seen often. so i would be interested to know if
you have sighted this butterfly recently anywhere in south india.
