Dear All, I am pleased to inform you District Administration of Tinsukia, Assam is going to publish a non-profitable pictoral book on Flora and Faunas of Dibru Saikhowa National Park for promoting conservation of that area. This book is suppose to bring popularity of that area, which covers more than 750 sq.km., an ideal habitat for the Asiatic Elephant, wild buffalo, and as many as 414 birds, etc. including critically endangered White Winged Wood Duck, etc. In this connection I along with others had identified atleast 103 species of butterflies in just 3 months surveys maximum 5 days of field trip. There are , more but due to lack of time shortly the said book would be publish. I have already contributed as many as 55 photos for the same. Since this book is a non profitable one, only the photo credits would be given on the side of the original photographers and no monetary benefits would be given. This contribution of your would enlightened us as it will out knowledge the common laymen in our surroundings and also to other part of our country at large.
