I checked the tail region but there was no tail so i don't think it is a female of Great mormon(Papilio memnon). When discussing about the photos, one of my Entomologist friend from Germany told me that it is so similar to Crimson Mormon (Papilio rumanzovia) which he saw in “Victoria Butterfly Garden”, Sidney. His passion is Beetles and his knowledge about Indian butterfly is restricted. My knowledge is also limited in this matter. Experts please help me to identify this butterfly.
