No dr gupta even then it would go to the group- i have found a better way instead of 'reply' hit the 'forward 'button.then u don't have to type the id .just cut and paste from the message below. In this case the msg doesn't go to the group.cheers -nitu

I face one problem though.Even when I post a message,as a reply, to a member, many a times it is sent to the group(it never used to happen in case of delhibirdpix/ delhibird/ indiantreepix, of whom i am a member for a very long time).I cant figure out the reason. The only option is to specifically write the name/mail id of member (after deleting the group name) Vinod ________________________________ From: Vijay Barve <vb.fr...@gmail. com> To: ButterflyIndia@ yahoogroups. com Sent: Monday, April 6, 2009 9:40:22 AM Subject: [ButterflyIndia] Messages on ButterflyIndia Dear Friends, With increasing number of postings on ButterflyIndia group, here are some tips to improve the value and get better results 1. While posting images try and follow http://diversityind ia.org/postimage .htm 2. Posting image do not forget to mention place, district and state. 3. DO not post plain "thank you" or "Very good" message to whole group. If you have any additional comment like "rare catch" or "uniqu post" do post it to group otherwise make it personal message. 4. Try and make your subject line unique."Butterfly Id Help" or "Id Help" is not good to track later who is talking of what id. Make it "Id help from Bangalore North" or "Id help White from Buxa" so we can quickly connect the answers. 5. Uploading on Flickr do read http://diversityind ia.org/flickrtag s.htm and follow. Any other suggestions ? Regards, Vijay --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ Enjoy -~----------~----~----~----~------~----~------~--~---
