Thanks Rohan & KK ji. Thanks for the information KK.

Indeed I was lucky! I went into the forest after 4.30pm & I was pretty upset
bcoz I knew I could hardly sight any butterflies at that hour. I saw
one evening brown(dont know which one) & a line blue. I could not photograph
these even after waiting for 10 mins for them to settle down. Then I
photographed Hapmson's hedge Hopper. It was getting dark but I just thought
I'll spend a few mins sitting beside a stream (deep inside I wanted to wait
for butterflies :) & then I saw this beautiful skipper come by. It was
feeding on the bird droppings undisturbed by my camera clicks. I spent
nearly 10 mins watching it. I also took a photo with it :D. My husband was
feeling left out & finally we had to leave as it was getting really dark
there. The colors were so crisp & shiny, I've never seen anything like it.

I'm sure Kalesh ji can spot this one at Coorg. Looks like this butterfly
knew where to find the bird droppings next to the stream.

Regards,
Rohini
