Good morning Sushmita ji,
Yes, the female of wanderer do have beautiful and prominent black and white
design. Some time it looks very similar to 'blue tiger' also. i think
Chintamoni is a good place for butterflying. One of my friends from Kolkata
keeps on sending me the photos of butterflies from Chintamoni. But never notice
any Yamfly!! I noticed them more southward….

Regards, Vivek

Vivek-ji,
thank you for your helpful response. My sister clicked these at Chintamoni Kar
Bird Sanctuary on the outskirts of Kolkata. Does the Common Wanderer have black
and white designs when wings are open?

Hello all,

Would request ID help. Both these were shot recently in southern fringes of
Calcutta. Inside wings of the first one had beautiful black&white design and
the second one was orangish inside.

Thank you for your help.
Sushmita Jha
