Dear all
as some of you may be aware of the fact, that i am now in japan for a while
and have an intension to stay here for a year!
so what about butterflying in japan? i start doing that immediately!!
Japan is a country full of gardens, plenty of green. But to my surprise
butterflies in Osaka area is not as much as it could be. Still i manage to
bag these four wonder in the first 10 days of Japan, hope to post you more
in the coming days!
Picture 001 is Common Yellow Swallotail *Papilio machaon*
Picture 002 is some five ring i yet to identify. Pls help me to know
which*Ypthima
* species is this.
Picture 003 is Common Bluebottle *Graphium sarpedon*
Picture 004 is Spangle Papilio protenor  which differs in a large way from
the spangle we found in India, it has tail and ours dont have!! its a
subspecies of *Papilio protenor* called *Papilio protenor demetrius*.
