  Hi Janaki
This creeper is growing next to the boundary wall of my home in Kolkata on a
disused portion of a school. So it is out-of-bounds for me. All photos were
taken from the first floor balcony of my house. As closer approach was not
possible I used a long tele-zoom instead of a macro lens. Hence the quality
suffered. Here are 3 attachments:
  1) A Common Jay on the flowers
  2) A general view of the creeper showing the leaves
  3) A close-up of the flowers
Thank you very much for your enthusiasm and help.
  Regards
  Amit

        Hi Amit,
Can you post more pictures of the plant-leaves, whole plant etc.
And any details about this creeper and where it was found.
This will help in identifying the plant.
        Kind Regards
        Janaki Turaga

I was amazed to find no less than 12 species of butterflies, several
species of bees and a potter wasp were feasting on the flowers of this creeper.
The plant found support on the branches of a mango tree. Here is a Common Crow
on the flowers. The following is the list of butterflies visiting the flowers:
          1. Common Crow (Euploea core)

          2. Grey Pansy (Junonia atlites)
          3. Danaid Eggfly (Hypolimnas misippus)
          4. Common Leopard (Phalanta phalantha)
          5. Peacock Pansy (Junonia almana)
          6. Common Albatross (Appias albina)
          7. Common Jay (Graphium doson)
          8. Plain Tiger (Danaus chrysippus)
          9. Common Emigrant (Catopsilia crocale)
          10. Monkey Puzzle (Rathinda amor)
          11. Tailed Jay (Graphium agamemnon)
          12. Unknown species about the size of Monkey Puzzle
I will be posting the photos very soon. I would very much like to
know the name of this plant.
          Regards
