Thanks KK,
Sure I will inform you.
Presently I am photographing Common Mormon, Pupa found in the garden on meethi
neem plans are real lottery. This time of the year majority of butterflies are
emerging in C Mormon are Romulus form. Is this because this is the major
breeding time of Common Rose and Crimson Rose, my aristolochia plants are eaten
to stump stage. I have 6 caterpillars / pupa from aristolochia which are going
to emerge in next week or ten days time.
I am looking for food plant of Common Leopard. Mr ASHISH TIPLE told me that its
a common weed one I have not identified it yet. Do you have any idea.
I will send you Pachmarhi report soon.
Thanks.

satyendra, this is very useful information. please let me know if you ever see
the species anywhere in central india. personally i have no records from there,
so i suspect that the species is restricted to the western ghats within south
india, recurring in the NE.

hi all,

thanks for sending me nearly a 100 pictures of the Plum Judy
(Abisara echerius). your pictures have been very useful. now i am on
my next query: Fulvous Pied Flat (Pseudocoladenia dan). the species
is very common in the western ghats and in the NE but i do not know
whether it occurs in the eastern ghats (e.g., andhra pradesh, orissa)
or the vindhya and satpuda hills in central india. i just looked up
the checklist from the Maredumilli butterflyindia meet, and the
species was not seen then.

could you please email images of this butterfly to me or post them to
the group if you have any taken in central india or in the NE? that
will help me delineate its distribution. your help is much
appreciated.

thanks.
