Butterfly Nature Trail
– Photographic outing to capture “flying jewels”
Early winter is the best season to observe the colorful butterflies. In monsoon
their caterpillars feed on plenty of vegetation which is abundant that time and
they emerge from the pupa showing their colorful wings. This is best time to
click these butterflies also as they ‘bask” in early sun with their spread
wings. We - “Vihang” are organizing a Butterfly Nature Trail on Sunday
3rd October, 2010 from 8 am to 11 am specifically to introduce this wonderful
world of flying jewels. The Owalekar Farm is specifically developed to attract
these butterflies by planting various rich-nectered flower plants which
attracts
thousands of butterflies. There are more than 70 species seen here. We also
provide the special tips for Butterfly and Macro photography with the help of
renowned wildlife photographer.
