As of now this group is good for people who need sighting records and photos
from various parts of India.
I got plenty of photos of migratory species from various places and it is
lot of good data for me.

Best thing would be to form local butterfly groups of 5 - 10 people and
to take up some subject and to do long term studies, apart from doing
photography n checklists.
These groups can also blindly plant the local host and nectar plants as
well.
I have seen relatively rare species surviving for long time even with
availability of few host n nectar plants.
So, planting host n nectar resources will go a long way in conserving these
species.
I am encouraging and coordinating the same at couple of Western Ghats field
stations.

Congratulations to ButterflyIndia for completing 9 years.
