Dear Haneesh,
Yes, certainly Eusteralis quadrifolia  makes a topper among butterfly nectar
plants, we have its cousin Eusteralis stellata (Bearded Marsh Star) here around
Mumbai -Pune, but does not seem to attract these many  butterflies.
Good shots  you got! Cheers!Isaac

Hi friends,

I have compiled a set of butterfly snaps, where they feed from a Small
flowering herb, Eusteralis Quadrifolia.

In Kerala it flowers after the monsoon and when it invites butterflies from all
the family for a feast.

i could click around 100 butterfly species feeding from it.

some of them can be seen in the link

Thanks to Mr. VC Balakrishnan and Mr. Jafar Palot for the identification of the
plant.

Cheers

Haneesh
