Thank you. We can use a lot of your images for this website because you have
images mostly from areas which are not covered on the website at all right now,
so even common species are useful. We are currently concentrating on
lifecycles, but I have bookmarked your photos and I will sort through your
collection when I find time. Thanks for offering your contributions.

Krushnamegh.

Folks, K. Saji and I have worked very hard to format, optimize and upload over
1,000 photographs covering early stages of more than 40 species on the
Butterflies of India website in the past one month. Now we have early stages of
62 species on the website:

http://ifoundbutterflies.org/species-pages/history-of-lifecycle-pages-on-butterflies-of-india-website

Major credit for this development goes to Saji, both for his hard work in the
past two years to find and photograph early stages of a tremendous number of
species, and also for formatting all of his images. This takes time, and Saji
has valiantly stuck to the task. Thanks, Saji, and I look forward to seeing
more lifecycles from you :). I know Hemant Ogale, V. Balakrishnan, S. Kalesh,
Milind Bhakare, Haneesh and others have early stages of many species, perhaps
they can take inspiration from Saji in enriching this website. Between this
group, we should be able to cover early stages of at least 250 species on the
website. Imagine how important this resource will be when we reach that target!

BTW, the number of species pages on the website has now reached 272 and we will
keep increasing this number steadily. The species pages are listed at:

http://ifoundbutterflies.org/species-pages/history-of-species-pages-on-butterflies-of-india-website

Both the above pages are cross-linked for users’ convenience.

With best wishes,

Krushnamegh.
