Hi Kishen, Yeah sad thing. I am involved in creating a 4km long urban butterfly trail in Singapore where our sponsors wanted to release butterflies few months ago as a gesture to show off their sponsorship to the media. Corporates think of this as a cool thing. Possibly good for press.
I successfully managed to dissuade them that this is not a good idea. Instead we did a butterfly photography exhibition to showcase the butterflies found along the trail which worked very well. Reading your article, got reminded of it! Thanks for sharing.
