The opportunity to live next to the Kalatope-Khajjiar wildlife sanctuary kindled my interest in the flora and fauna of this region. As my interest grew I realised that there was not much material found for this region on the internet.. hence I decided to document whatever I found here and put it on the internet for other people to appreciate and share. My academic background is not at all in sciences and so I found it difficult to identify the beautiful species I found here till I came across the helpful communities on the internet.
