Common Evening Brown (Melanitis leda) has distinct seasonal forms and a
phenomenal range of individual variation in its wing patterns. We have put
together a collection of over two dozen images capturing some of the common and
dramatic variation of this species on its BOI species page:

We would love to have more pictures from you if you are willing to contribute,
especially if you have variation not covered in these pictures. Otherwise, any
good pictures are always welcome. BTW, now we have 5,000 to 6,000 reference
images on the website. That covers a lot of variation of Indian butterflies.
Big thanks to Rohan Lovalekar, Gaurav Agavekar and Saji K. who have tirelessly
formatted so many of their own and other images given to them for the website.
Others such as Hemant Ogale, Rohit Girotra and Animish Mandrekar have also
contributed dozens of images recently. Thanks, all. I hope that we will
continue to grow at this pace.

With best wishes,

Krushnamegh.
