Hello everyone,

I am planning my next trip to Eaglenest, Pakke and Sessa in Arunachal
Pradesh as part of a Rufford Lepidoptera survey.

(more information at
http://www.ruffordsmallgrants.org/rsg/projects/sanjay_sondhi)
.

I will be visiting from 3-18 September 2011 (arrival/departure dates
from Guwahati) and will be surveying for butterflies during the day
and moths during the night.

I will be looking out for the Bhutan Glory, which flies at this time.
We saw this butterfly in Oct 10, but could not photograph it. The just
concluded trip in May 11 resulted in quite a few interesting sightings-
Golden Sapphire, White-edged Bushbrown, White-edged Woodbrown, Yellow
Woodbrown. Dusky Labyrinth, Lilacfork, Small Pointed Pierrot, Panther,
Dark Jezebel amongst others.

I would like to add that a post monsoon/end of monsoon butterfly and
moth surveys has never been attempted in this area, so while we might
see some really funky stuff, rain might play spoilsport, too!

I am looking for 3-4 people to join me (4-5 people, max including me)
on this survey to share costs, learnings, experiences, etc. At this
point in time, we have one confirmation (other than me).

If you are interested in joining this survey, please write into me
directly.

Thanks
