Blaise, yes, upon closer inspection, this is most likely a Chocolate Pansy 
(Junonia iphita) caterpillar, the hostplant clearly being an Acanthaceae.  
Based on my experience in Southeast Asia, Lemon Pansy (J. lemonias) larvae can 
be very similar in appearance, but have a slightly different dorsal patterning. 
 Regarding your separate private message, Pansy cats are easily distinguishable 
from those of Oakleafs (Kallima) . . .
