FIRST - TO EVERYONE - AGAIN: Please do not change the subject line of a
current email thread. This does not create a new topic. It just screws
up email programs which are designed for use with threaded email systems

To Bob,
To answer the question, excessive bounces means that emails from the
system have not been making it to your email address. For some reason,
your email system is not allowing the BVARC reflector emails to pass
through and are being returned to the server. To the server, this
appears to be a bad email address and is therefore removed from the list.
You need to talk with your email provider (probably AT&T) and find out
why they are blocking the reflector. Or, it could be a setting in your
email. Check your email settings at the AT&T online email web page.
Your email provider may have the mailman system (the system used for our
reflector, and the TDXS reflector) blocked for spamming.
If your tdxs mails are going through with no problem, then your mail
provider is blocking the BVARC address for some reason.

From Bob:
Twice in about a week, I've received "bounced due to excessive bounces"
so I had to renew my membership. Which I have.
So why? I saw a string about this I believe but didn't read it. Other
than renewing, do I need to look for something wrong "somewhere"?
Sorry.
