tube base. This is the same socket used by, for instance, a
6L6GC vacuum tube (ok, Fleming Valve). The tube base uses
the hollow pins, not the alternate with wire pins.

If you have a spare you are willing to part with, perhaps
you can offer it up at the club meeting on Thursday.
