Contests this weekend.

1. EU PSK DX Contest. Worth your time. Work some European DX on PSK 63.
The speed will take your breath away. If you have never worked a PSK
contest, this will get you interested in something digital besides RTTY.
PSK 63 only.  Most digital decoders can handle PSK 63.  Starts Saturday
Morning at 7 AM

2. UN DX Contest. – No, not the United Nations. It is UN as in the prefix
for Kazakhstan.  If you haven’t worked Kazakhstan, this is your big chance.
Both CW and SSB

3. Portuguese Navy Day DX Contest – No, you do not have to work the entire
Portuguese Navy.  This contest is part of Portguese Navy Day celebrations.
CW, SSW and digital (RTTY and PSK). Celebrates the arrival of Vasco da Gama
in India. Da Gama was the first European to reach India by sea in 1498.
Quite a feat, no GPS, and no Holiday Inn.

4. Aegean RTTY Contest – Need Greece or some Greek islands.  Work them here.

5. His Majesty King of Spain CW - If you don’t know it, King Juan Carlos is
a ham (EA0JC).  You might get lucky while you are working up your code speed

6. Baltic Contest- CW and SSB 80 meters only.  Do you need Lithuania, Latvia
or Estonia?  That ‘s a tought band but you might get lucky!

Check them out on http://www.hornucopia.com/contestcal/weeklycont.php
