Just a note for those who wanted to know. A quick glance at the KK5W MSWE log
shows (unconfirmed) 24 museum ships in our log.Two of the ships in our log are
new to MSWE. They are the USS Sullivans Destroyer and SS Valley Camp Lake
Freighter. The 24 ship contacts is well over the required ships needed for the
NJ2BB 15 ship certificate award. A copy of the award will be given to all who
came out to KK5W MSWE.
This year we did not search and pounce for ships however it seems the other
ships did to get the USS Stewart and USS Cavalla in the log. Great job guys and
gales that helped put on the event at Ft Travis. 720+ Q's is outstanding.
