Best to have a copy of the 2014 ARRL FD rules to follow along 7.3.1 - 100% Emercency Power for Xmitters. Projected A alpha stations 8 = 800 points...can not use free 2m station or GOTA for Alpha station bonus 7.3.2 - Media Publicity = 100 points Ron K5HM is our PIO however if you have an " IN " with the media make the contact and inform our PIO to help get our KK5W FD in the paper or on TV. 7.3.3 - Public Location = 0 points The Fire Field is not open to public like shopping mall ect. 7.3.4 - Public Info Table = 100 points. Handled by KE5NDN Norma. Set table with pamplets. hand out info to new hams, non hams, guests, visitors and have all that attend sign the FD list. 7.3.5 - Message Origination to STX Section Manager or STX Section Emergency Coordinator = 100 points Handled by WS5H Bill with NTS form sent via RMS winlink VHF packet airmail. 7.3.6 - NTS message handling = 100 points ( 10 messages) NEED VOLLEYS...OPEN.. PLEASE HELP. This has allways been a weak area of FD. Any Message Handlers Left in STX to attend FD? 7.3.7 - Satellite QSO = 100 points Handled by Scott KD5FBA. Scott requests HELP, AMSAT members PLEASE offer on site assistance, tips and tricks. 7.3.8 - Alternate Power = 100 points. Handled by Travis K5HTB. 5 QSO's by means of solar, wind, methane or water. ( see complete rules.) 7.3.9 - W1AW Bullitin = 100 points. Copy via CW or Digi the special W1AW ( or K6KPH ) bullitin. Handled by John K5IZO. If you copy the bullitin PLEASE send it to John for cross check. 7.3.10 - Educational Activity Bonus = 100 points. OPEN, Need Presentation It can be short and Fun (see rules)...or I will bore you with Packet Air Mail setup presentation. 7.3.11 - Site Visitation by an elected governmental official = 100 points. We can invite many to see the Tri Club emergency prepardness FD site 7.3.13 - GOTA Station - NEEDED / WANTED TDXS K5DX GOTA CAPTAIN AND COACH for up to 500 Bonus points during the station use.
