The joint BVARC/TDXS/Echo Field Day was a wonderful success this year,
undoubtedly the result of a lot of great volunteers.

But I want to particularly highlight two:

Roy AD5Q. Roy made the trip all the way from the north side of Houston and
stayed two nights. Roy was extremely helpful in antenna setup (first 2
element 40 meter wire beam in BVARC FD history!) and with the CW tribander.
The 40 meter wire beam worked like a hose! Roy also made well over 500 CW
QSO's to what I believe will be the highest score in BVARC FD history!

Glenn WB5TUF. Glenn supplied the computers, monitors, keyboards, switches,
and other network hardware, set up the network that to my knowledge worked
flawlessly, and supplied three.count 'em three K3s for the event! Glenn also
made 264 RTTY QSOs.

My hat's off to both you guys!!!

For those who haven't seen the score summary, BVARC/TDXS/Echo made 3762 QSOs
with a pre-bonus point score of 13,372!

Thanks again Roy!!
