Battle antennas, cables and radios...got tired of it....dumped my icom 718 (entry level radio) and traded for an Yaesu FT-900AT, an older radio at Houston Radio Supply.but HEY...l'm actually working a contact not dead air! The second I fire it up I hear 7 operators on 10 meters, "yes 10" when I usually with Icom get zero! I made my first contact. 8 pm Georgia landed a 5-9 on 45% power. It will get better from here. Now I am in the ballpark for 10-10 Tuesday night. The 900 made all the diffrence!!!
