Did you make at least 1 QSO in the 10-10 Summer SSB event last weekend. If so,
be sure that you send the number of QSOs that you made to either (or both)
Nizar Mullani and Bill Stone. It doesn't matter if you have a 10-10 number or
not. All Nizar and Bill need are your number of QSOs. They don't need any
further breakdown than this. Their e-mail addresses are separately shown in
the header above. Please do not do a "reply to all." Though it looks like Big
Al, N5XZ, will win the XZ-BVARC Challenge, we still want to show your support
in this event. REMEMBER, if you made 1 QSO or 500, you still count the same as
far as the number or participants are concerned. If not done, please do so at
this time.
Also, BUT SEPARATE FROM THE ABOVE, if you have an active (dues paid-up) 10-10
membership, be sure that you upload your log to the 10-10 website and indicate
that it is associated with the Houston Chapter, SHOT. If you don't have it on
an electronic log, you can mail it in but, either way, do so this weekend as
time is running out.
If you have an electronic log, your software has a provision to create a
Cabrillo file.
* Create the Cabrillo file
* Go to the 10-10 website at http://www.ten-ten.org/
* Click on "Activities"
* In the dropdown, click "QSO Parties"
* In that dropdown, click "Upload Log HOWTO"
* Follow the very simple instructions.
If you have ANY questions, contact Nizar, Bill or me.
Once again, we hope that SHOT wins 1st place worldwide. With your 1 or 500
QSOs, we will probably do it.
Tnx es 73
de John, K5IZO
