A Little helpTue Sep 9, 2014 9:08 am (PDT) . Posted by:m0uooHi all, It’s been a
long time since I have been active on the reflector, but could do with a little
help to make some people very happy. At present I am operating from the West of
Ukraine under the call sign of UT/M0UOO/P, I have recently had the pleasure to
meet with the local radio club and after some Vodka, oh and some more Vodka and
this was all before midday we agreed that we need to activate one of their WWFF
site which they have never had a good hit on. They operate very old equipment
most of it being older than 40 years plus the power levels are normally under
10 watts that’s if you can lift it off the bench! We have agreed to use my van
and activate a (WWFF) Worldwide Flora & Fauna site on the 12th and 13th of
September this is URFF-139 (Nechymne Landscape Reserve), URDA VO-09 (Kovel
district). Grid square KO21IF. I have told them that we should be able to
achieve a target of a 1,000 QSO’s over the two days, (Vodka does bad things to
you).Charles M0OXO is the QSL manager and I will have special QSL card produce
for the activity with each Ukraine stations call attached. I will also upload
to EQSL, LOTW, Club log and QRZ once I can get an internet connection. We would
be grateful of any contacts as I have only just introduced them into the
bicycle mobile idea. We will be operating 40, 20, 17, 15 & 10m and should start
about Friday afternoon. I really hope we can hook up thanks Richard UT/M0UOO/P
