For those who were not able.....
This past weekend the SouthTexas Hamfest was held in Aransas Pass. This was the 2nd time that I have made the trek there. Last year they had a very disappointing turnout. This year was MUCH better. They had a number of vendors who made the trip including Houston Amateur Radio. As it turned out there was something I went to the Hamfest looking for and they were the only ones who had it. Go Figure!! Many of the vendors indicated that they will be making a trip to ours and others who have never been to ours are considering it after hearing about the Greater Houston Hamfest.
