How about getting NOAA to put on a Skywarn class during Hamfest..?
It takes longer than 45 minutes, but could be divided into several parts
& given no disasters
have occurred since Hurricane IKE, seasoned hams may need a refresher
course & new hams
need to be indoctrinated in emergency procedures and how emergency
traffic is managed
during an emergency...

We are in need of more speakers for the 2015 Greater Houston Hamfest (
www.houstonhamfest.com <http://www.houstonhamfest.com> ) being held at
the Fort Bend County Fairgrounds on March 28^th , 2015. This is your
chance to talk about the part of Amateur Radio that you love, and to
share your knowledge with others. Speakers typically have 45 minute
slots. We will have four more slots this year than in previous years,
so please send me an email or call me.
