su·per·flu·ous
so͞oˈpərflo͞oəs/
adjective
1.. unnecessary, especially through being more than enough.
"the purchaser should avoid asking for superfluous information"
synonyms: surplus (to requirements), nonessential, redundant, unneeded,
excess, extra, (to) spare, remaining, unused, left over, in excess, waste
Had to relean a word superfluous today. CHEMO and pain relief had me off the
beam abit for a few hours today. Now I seem back in focus. A good mention is I
see John Moore KK5NU in ARRL QST March 2015 page 46 ARRL VEC Volunteer Examiner
HONOR ROLL. As John KK5NU was an ex prez BVARC 1999 , our long time VEC at the
BVARC listed examiner test site and his phone # was on my desk it seemed like a
good time to call an old elmer, shoot the breeze and ask the questions. Anyway
just wanted to pass the word. Congrats to John Moore and his ARRL servicework.

Yes spoke to John and emailed Ross and got same info Club calls and vanity
has different proceedure than just standard out of the call sign pool renewal.
ARRL direct best. The BOD now has heads up (agenda) to pay for renewal or repay
Ross for expence so Bob T. or if out of town Michael M will take care of the
$$$ Tnx RON as you are a VE and know too. I had good Ham company over at my QTH
tonight so was late to send further info.

Since KK5W is a vanity Club call, the total renewal fee is $5 plus the
Vanity call sign renewal fee of $21.40. Since this a nominal fee, no BOD
action is required.

All Club call renewals handled through ARRL. You can apply direct. No need
to go through John Moore as that would be superfluous. All the info you need
can be obtained here: http://www.arrl.org/vanity-call-sign-fees

      Greetings,

I thank Jerry for his confidence to proxy his vote however as the prez
presides the meeting and should only vote as a tie breaker I feel if I open
proxy for his vote may be tweaking the bylaws past the limit and may lead to
controversy. Also proxy vote should be in writing and specify the agenda topic
/ topics for proxy vote. I hope you can understand why I request a specific ya
na per proxy votes on a listed agenda item. Monday I will request BOD to submit
any agenda items that received from membership and list them with agenda I have
received along with last months old biz needing continued.

FYI- Mike H and Jerry are known to be absents. Any other BOD to be absent
please advise me. I started CHEMO yesterday so even I have a maybe show at this
FEB BOD. Our Parliamentarian John C won’t be in town to help preside. I only
live less than a mile from our BOD meet spot so fair / good chance I will be
there.

      Thanks for you service work

Due to a HLS&R conflict iI will not be able to attend the March BOD
meeting. I hereby Grant to Bill Stone my Proxy vote in all matters I would vote
