Attention Ham Radio Geeks!

Celebrate National Pi day March 14 (3-14, get it?), or if you want to be
more precise March 14 at exactly 9:26:53 (3.141592653). Without this little
number, you wouldn't know how to figure the turning radius of your new beam
or how much concrete to pour for the tower base.

Yes, the ratio of a circle's circumference to its diameter, 22/7 or the
decimal equivalent, 3.141592653, makes a lifetime appearance on Saturday.

In case you forgot, it is also Albert Einstein's 136th Birthday and the
110th year since the publishing of the Theory of Special Relativity. You
know, KABOOM!

Several stations, including N8P, the Lake Effect Amateur Radio Club and The
David Sarnoff Radio Club N2RE, will be on the air on March 14, 2015 in
conjunction with the Princeton Pi Day & Einstein Birthday Party that will be
held in Princeton New Jersey.
