When my son and I make Cobbler, we use a cast iron Dutch Oven. Good stuff!

A cobbler is often thick and often does not have an even crust on the bottom.
Most cobblers are made from fruit. When served with a scoop of ice cream they
really are all good.

I have made some. It is the same as pie, but cooked in a square pan. Cut into
squares and enjoy. Or, spoon out like a cobbler if you prefer. J

What is the difference between pecan pie and pecan cobbler?

For those who asked, the best pecan cobbler at the rodeo can be found here.
Hall C, western heritage area in reliant center. The name of the place is,
"cobbler cafe."
Sorry, couldn't attach a picture from my phone.
