A friend of mine came by today to say hi and show me his VHF Sonar -70 Marine
Radio Telephone that he thought to sell for 20 bucks. I contacted a member of
Houston Antuige Radio Ass. and said no time or intrest in it. The coveres
pulled showed like new tune coils, tuner ( works on long wire config). even
better is resistors,caps, coils and slugs look new. This is Xtal control with
transistorized reciever and a nice transmit TX tube. NO power supply that
convert 12 volt to need voltages I dont see that this unit spent much if any
time aboard ship. Its at my QTH for a week so if interested let me know. Also
next to nil on manual on web so if you got info please contact me. This unit is
just too pretty to end up on the BVARC dollar sale table. 20 bucks and its yours
