Hello Mike,

Do you think it would be possible to have a “mini-net” on one of the local
repeaters so the locals could work the Texas (and the other ships in the area)?
Maybe it could be scheduled at every 3 hours starting at 9 am on Saturday
through 9 am Sunday or something like that.

Just a thought to pass along to the BVARC MSWE chairman.

Thanks,

Mike

Mike and all,

As the default Battleship TEXAS coordinator, I responded to Terry's question.

Thanks to whomever for sending him to me.

Terry,

BVARC does not attend the Battleship Texas during MSWE. BVARC is activating
the Destroyer and Submarine which are located on Galveston Island. That being
said, there are members of the Battleship Texas group who get this email so
hopefully one of them will contact you.

Can the Museum Ships weekend coordinator send me a private note with the
logistics of the event on the Battleship texas. I want to bring some new hams
to check it out. May or may not operate.
