It seems to me that pretty much all of the SDR stuff is pretty high end stuff. I mean, the ANAN-10E is $1000 and you still need a pretty powerful computer to actually do something with it.

The SDR kit (the Peaberry) that's been 95% assembled on my bench for a couple of months now is even $200 and that doesn't count the hours and hours of surface-mount soldering it requires to build.
