Thanks to all that responded to my ‘dumb question of the day.’ The powers
that be at Cameron decided to let the site coordinator handle it as long as
he/she ordered parts from CDW. My new question is this: Can anyone recommend
a repair shop that will go through my FT-897D and align/tune it and replace
anything that might be wrong with it? I haven’t good review of sending it back
to Yaesu repair, so I am really looking for a 3rd party/aftermarket repair shop
I want to sell my FT-897D but I don’t want to sell anyone any problems. The
rig runs fine for everything that I do with it, but selling with a clean bill
