To BVARC members and Bill, N4HPG,
Let's get a few things straight here for the general BVARC public, Bill. First off, my call is W5RH. Second, you were "invited", by me, to participate in "my" presentation about antennas. I was invited by BVARC to do the presentation. I included you, and you initially accepted, because I thought the work you were doing on the TTFD antenna was quite interesting and in an area of antenna theory, etc. that would be of interest to the BVARC audience. Plus, since you were trying to build and market the antenna for sale, I thought it an excellent opportunity for you to present it to a captured audience that might just purchase one of your antennas. (BTW there were about 65 people there) Third, I recently jumped into the TTFD project and we were loosely working together because I thought it was quite interesting and that maybe I could provide a bit of insight for myself as a casual user of antennas with a keen interest in antenna theory and design. You, being the engineer that you are, could provide me with additional technical insight and information. My apologies for being so selfish that I would want to use your information for my own personal knowledge gain. So there you have it. In a nut shell, you were invited to participate in my presentation. In the end, when the invitation was extended, yet again, you refused and now it is my fault that you didn't show up. Go figure. Oh, BTW, it was a great evening. Thanks to all those that attended! 73.. I'm so sorry that I didn't read the by-laws and properly submit my antenna discussion for K5RH's approval. God, how I wish I was back in NC. Get me off this list. Bill Crowell Pearland, TX
