Radio is approximately one year old, but I've had it just over a month. I'd
rate its condition at 10 electronically and 9.8 cosmetically (simply because
it's not still sealed in its shipping plastic). Package deal includes
everything that comes with the radio except the mounting bracket for the
main unit. Also included is the $35 serial-to-USB cable needed to use the
TS-480 with a computer (control software can be downloaded free from
Kenwood).

There's technically nothing wrong with this radio. I'm selling it because
I'm a bigot; I believe all conventional HF radios should have DSP in the IF
stages. If correctly used, IF DSP tames even the worst QRN 75m can throw at
you on a summers eve. I say that being a SWL since 1967.

The TS-480SAT is a 100-watt HF/6m rig with a built-in automatic antenna
tuner. I'm asking $750. Would really rather not ship, but we can discuss
that. I do all business by email, and am good on QRZ.COM.
