Leslie Jones
1. Today I had Leslie Jones, KA5EQT work on my 100 foot tower for the
second time.
Last time I had him working on my 12 ele LPDA at 120 feet. I was using
a crane. He replaced the two boom-support cables. This antenna is
above another antenna necessitating the use of a crane.
Work was performed swiftly. Leslie know the signals that crane op's
use to talk to one another. So his experience extends to crane work.
Leslie also did some work on the lower antenna; letting me release the
crane ($)
2. Today he replaced a rotator in my 100 foot tower and some alignment
work of the two antennas on this tower. Again he worked very
well....and swiftly ($).
I have to recommend him to tower owners/builders. He is honest and
reliable. He moves around up there like no one I have ever seen.
He tells me that this is his full time job now days.
Give Leslie as call for your tower work. He has worked for numerous
Conroe, Magnolia, and north Houston hams. I don't know how far he will
travel for work. This can probably be negotiated.
