Howdy All, Attached is a PDF of an article that I wrote concerning my improved TTFD antenna. It was published in the December TDXS BullSheet.
I¹ve updated it to show the VSWR curves and some new data. My hope is to sell these at our hamfest in March. Some improvements are scheduled for testing: 1. Improved VSWR especially 10m 2. ³stealthy² wire color for those in restricted areas 3. Improved mechanical design of the compound balun This antenna covers 160 10 and mostly without any tuner. And it works! I got the VK9 expedition on 40m and 15m CW with 500W. And, in keeping with my philosophy of building things, there is no hidden ³magical and proprietary² items.
