Howdy All,

I thought I should share this with the whole class.

I started fabrication on the compound balun for the APWD antenna. Those who have come to the Thursday Lunch Bunch have seen it and it was in the article that I sent around.

When I went to glue up the PVC tubing that holds the 3 200-ohm chokes for the 9:1, I found my PVC cement mostly dried up. Anyone who has worked with PVC knows what I’m talking about. What to do.

I had purchased a tube of Loctite UV cure industrial adhesive on Amazon. I tried it for the first time today. A few drops on the joints and then hit with the UV light. Liquid to solid in 10 seconds and strong! Stays wet until exposed to UV light so you can work with it. Minimal smell. Amazing stuff.

Go forth and build something!
