The Brazos Valley Amateur Radio Club holds its monthly meeting this
Thursday, March 10 at the Sugar Land Masonic Lodge, 421 Eldridge Rd, Sugar
Land, corner at Rolling Mill Drive. Plenty of parking available, 'cause we
can use the Sugar Land First Methodist Church parking lot in addition to
the spaces at the Lodge.

As the headline says, It's Home Brew Night! This year Home Brew Night will
be a contest. We are looking for the innovative, the unique, the practical
and downright bizarre projects related to the hobby and service that is
amateur radio. At the conclusion of the contest, you and your fellow hams
(and guests) will vote for their favorite Home Brew Project of the evening,
and the winner will be awarded an awesome prize obtained especially for
this event. It is something every ham wishes for from time to time, but
just doesn't know how to go about getting it. Thanks to a top secret
government project, the solution is now well in hand.

Voting will be by "Applause O'meter"; the HB presenter with the loudest
reading on the Applause O'meter wins! (Sort of like the TV talent shows of
the 1950's and 60's). And like they say, I have an app for that.

Sorry, no second place award. This year its winner takes all. (Did I say
the prize is AWSOME?)

This is always a fun night, Come join the fun and see what your fellow club
members have been concocting for your education, enlightenment and
amusement.

Did I mention there is a prize for the winner?
