i enjoyed the hamfest. only complaint i had was a minor inconvenience.
when i went to pick up my prepaid ticket for entrance, the one line that
said prepaid was closed. so i stood in the pay line only to be told upon
reaching the counter that i had to go in the vendor line, that was the
person doing vendors and prepaid. stood in the vendor line. too much
line hopping. they should have moved the sign over to the vendor window
to avoid the confusion.
amsat had a good day with balloon talks, the launch of 2 balloons, and
working ao-85 later.
next up... field day.... start thinking and preparing it is not that far
away.
