Many thanks to all who responded to my cry for help with Linux.
All the responses were helpful and got me in business.
My Wi-Fi dongle is now installed and working.
Since I am a total “newbie” to Linux, the problem was me and everyone steered
me in the right direction.
..........file and folder names are case sensitive ..........
I will likely need to ask more questions later after I explore a little and
read some Linux manuals on line.
