THE PROBLEM
My previous Windows system worked just fine with digital modes, but the
hard drive crashed MAJOR.
I got a new hard drive and converted to LINUX and starting hunting for
software.
Everything was going fine until I decided to start really learning
digital modes.
I could transmit PSK31 using FLDIGI but not transmit SSTV.
THE ANSWER
I had tried copying the FLDIGI settings to QSSTV with no success, but Mr
Guthrie suggested I try VOX with QSSTV
that worked.
It worked with MMSSTV also
I am now able to transmit on SSTV
Now that I am on the air with Linux, I can start using/learning digital
modes more.
If I find a setting that works without VOX, I will let everyone know.
