ATTA BOY Bill!

That is what it takes to make passes on field day. That is one reason why AMSAT
also recommends that people trying to make Satellite QSOs on the LEOS limit
themselves to 1 confirmation only because of the tendency to try to dominate
the passes.

My sentiments also regarding Field Day.! The fellowship with this group and
those who could not make it are what make this such a great hobby.

Subject: [BVARC] Great Field Day, thanks for everyone's hard work!

I had a great time at my second Field Day, many thanks to the officers,
members, and volunteers from BVARC, Texas DX, and Houston Echo for making this
happen!

Special thanks to my AMSAT buddy, Fernando NP4JV, who told two other stations
trying to swamp me on the LAST SO-50 orbital pass of Field Day that he wouldn't
work them until he had completed our contact. I had struck out on four
previous orbital passes of SO-50 and AO-85 -- just couldn't break through all
the QRM with my 5-Watt HT.
