Terry, Rohn makes a push pole from steel in 30, 40 and 50 foot.  This will give
you 26, 36 and 44 feet above the base.  The stiffness is adequate for raising a
mini-beam or a VHF beam or a dipole.  You can get antennas from MFJ or DX
Engineering.  The pole you can get from DX Engineering and elsewhere.  The last
pole that I bought was from Ralph's Electronics on Telephone Road.  You might
check River Oaks and see what Eddie can do for you.  Eddie has some MFJ in
stock and can order other things and may be able to help with installation if
you need it.  The poles are all the same but you can buy just the top 3
sections or so.  I have some at my QTH in Santa Fe if you want to look as well
as a Cush Craft mini beam you can peruse.  My number is 832-630-1799 if you
just want to talk. Cookie, K5EWJ

Subject: [BVARC] Does anyone have a decent 20 or 30' push up pole?

I am looking for one for remote RV haming with my somewhat portable Rotatable
dipole that I can take apart and travel with. My hope is to mount the pole to
the back of the RV vertically collapsed and make a fold down bracket for
antenna assembly. Then strap it to the rear ladder up high and push up when in
operation.

I've been experimenting with my old Hustler spider top hat  trunk truck mount,
and it's not working so well.
Maybe we'll work the state park contest and our own field day event next year...
