There will be over 200 countries on the air this weekend. I know that most of
you do not operate CW contests, but, this weekend is a great time to pick up
some new countries you may need.

Fearless Bill, WS5H, used to program his call in one of his buttons on his rig
and his report (599 4) in another button. He also used a CW decoding program or
the DX cluster to find the station he needed. He would press one button to call
the DX station and another to send his report. Bill had over 200 countries on
10 meters and had no fear of jumping in to the 30 wpm CW with his programmed
call at 15 wpm. The DX station would slow down to pick him up and make the
contact.

The contest starts at 6 pm CST on Friday and ends at 6 pm on Sunday. The
exchange for us is 599 4.

Get on the air like Fearless Bill. Learn something new and snag a new country.
Contact any of the contesters like N5XZ or K5IZO or W5HFF or K5HM if you need
help in setting up your rig and computer for this contest.

Have fun. 73
