No your radio is not broken.
The 10-10 local net is on Wednesday night at 8 pm CST on 28.488. Net
control in Mike N5MT. If you have a beam, he is in the area east of
Kirby about 2.5 miles. If you are a member of QRZ you can put in his
call and go to the second tab on his screen and there is a map. Click
on the map and it will give you direction and distance from your QTH.
If I can be of any further help just Call as I am retired.
713-455-8752 home or Cell 713-305-6922.

Was the 10-10 Net 28.488 make it on the air tonight? If it
did..... I heard nothing. My radio Yaesu FT-900 was sent off to
have it checked. Got it back checked out OK and in time for
Saturday and made 10 contacts more than I ever had before. Decided
to raise antenna 10 more feet waited for Wed Net but heard nothing
so I need to know if it was on tonight!
